Physical Description:
Canon Abilities: As a nine-tailed fox spirit, she can change her shape. She can also detach her tails, disguise them as anyone she desires, and control them remotely. These doppelgangers do not possess the memories or knowledge of those they copy, and thus can be exposed by clever individuals. Those with a high level of spirituality can also "see" the tails attached to the doppelgangers. She and any of her tails can also turn into cold flame and fly away for a quick escape. Tamamo herself doesn't have much in the way of combat ability, but can use her tails for melee attacks in her "true" form.

Tamamo is always scheming.
Tamamo is a spirit who feeds on negative emotions and revels in chaos. Throughout history she's been behind the scenes, worming her way into the inner circles of man, spreading dissent and distrust. This is less for the desire to rule and more for the simple joy of destroying those around her and feeding off the negativity released in the process. She's spent many years observing and manipulating, inciting war after war, and considers herself an expert on the human mind.
Tamamo is haughty and confident, convinced of her own superiority and her ability to control those around her. She will always act in a manner that she thinks will bring her closer to those around her, and when she has their trust, will plant a seed of doubt in their minds. A seed that she will go to great lengths to nourish until it blossoms into animosity and distrust in everyone but her.
As a nine-tailed fox, she can also change her shape to further her own ends. She would take the shape of a loved one and stir up conflict, or the shape of an influential figure to ruin reputations and start riots. Illusions are her sphere, and what can trick the eyes can trick the mind.
Beneath her cold and crafty exterior, Tamamo--or more specifically, Kyubi-- is an incredibly insecure and lonely woman. Her compulsive need to be in control of the world around her hides her deep fear of rejection and loss of control of her own world. She desires a chaotic world not only because of the energy and joy it brings her, but also because a chaotic world is one where only she has control. She desires companionship, but her very nature compels her to manipulate and mislead.
While disguised as a human, she is calm and calculating, but if her true form is exposed, she becomes more desperate... and far more dangerous. With her true nature revealed, she's lost her advantage of disguise, and will grow increasingly unpredictable in her tactics. She will do everything she can to regain the upper hand, up to and including using her tails to isolate her targets in order to assassinate them separately. In disguise, she prefers to let others do her dirty work. When exposed, she does it herself.
